The Southern Monmouth Chamber of Commerce, in its commitment to serve the local community, offers scholarship(s) to 2008-2009 seniors who plan to continue their academic education.  Applicants must reside in one of the following towns:

Avon-by-the-Sea, Belmar, Bradley Beach, Brielle, Lake Como, Manasquan, Neptune City, Neptune Township, Ocean Grove, Sea Girt, Spring Lake, Spring Lake Heights or Wall Township.

We are pleased to enclose an application for distribution to students interested in participating.  Applicants can choose to either write an essay or create an art form/painting.  Please note that the deadline for submission is: May 1, 2009.  Additional forms are available upon request or copies can be made. If you have any questions; please do not hesitate to contact us.

The student(s) will be notified by mail and our scholarship award presentation is scheduled for Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at the Francis Asbury Manor in Ocean Grove. We look forward to awarding the scholarship(s) in order to lessen their educational cost as well as serving the needs of our local community.
